The Resort
The resort is in a prime location on the South West coast of Tenerife. The hillside position of these luxury apartments near the scenic village of Los Gigantes provides the perfect setting for your holiday.
The heated pool, with its safe bathing area for children and ample sun loungers offers relaxation to its visitors. The poolside bar provides snacks and drinks, and the popular resort restaurant is open each evening. Regular barbecues are organised at the resort to help you meet your fellow guests in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. On site you will also find a children´s play area, games room and live entertainment most evenings. The resort has a staffed reception happy to help you with any enquires and the luggage/shower facilities offer the opportunity to freshen up before travelling. The resort and surrounding area is not suitable for those with walking difficulties.

Local Area Information
The nearby village of Los Gigantes is dominated by the incredible blue-grey cliffs, which tower above the resort, giving the village its name - “The Giants” - and providing a spectacular backdrop. The local area provides all sorts of activities such as golf, tennis, fishing and horseriding as well as the opportunity to book various excursion for the whole island of Tenerife. The village provides a wide range of shops, first class restaurants and attractive sea-front café bars.
Built around the harbour, where luxury yachts float next to fishing boats, Los Gigantes also boasts a lovely beach with clear blue seas. Another superb beach can be found in the near by village of Playa de la Arena.

El Marques Resort has a prime location on the sunny South Western coast of the lovely island of Tenerife and is only 28 miles from Reina Sofia Airport where taxis are readily available from the Airport terminal or pre-bookable transfers can be arranged.
Directions from the airport
On leaving the airport follow the dual carriageway out of the airport, keeping in the left hand lane (but remembering we drive on the right!!) following signs for the motorway (autopista) Los Cristianos/Adeje.
Once you have joined the motorway continue until the motorway ends at a roundabout. Take the roundabout exit for Playa San Juan/Los Gigantes. You are now on the coast road with the sea on your left. Pass through the villages of Playa San Juan and Alcala, arriving at a T-junction signposted for Tamaimo/Los Gigantes. At this T-junction turn left down the hill. Continue down hill until entering the village of Puerto Santiago, turn 1st right into a cul-de-sac and El Marques is the white building on the right. Reception is on the left.
