The Resort
Las Casitas is a small, exclusive development of studios, one and two bedroomed villas adjacent to Las Brisas. Situated in the attractive fishing village of Playa Blanca, with it's promenade walk, beach and many first class restaurants it is the ideal way to relax and enjoy your holiday. Set in mature gardens, the tradional Moorish design of the villas blends with the landscape. There is a heated main pool and childrens swimming pool, tennis courts and childrens play area.

This unique and fascinating island, lying 100km off the African coast, has scenery very unlike its neighbouring islands. Devastated by volcanic eruptions in the 17th and 18th centuries, it has been left with an almost eerie lunar landscape for which it has become famous. The weather is warmer and drier than on the more westerly islands, as Lanzarote is subject to hot winds from the Sahara as well as cooling winds from the Atlantic.
Las Casitas is situated near the pretty coastal village of Playa Blanca set in a sheltered bay with a gently shelving beach of fine golden sand. The village is a quiet, relaxing resort on the rugged southern tip of the island. The beautiful white sand beaches of Playa Papagayo are only 7km to the east. The village has shops and restaurants and you can also catch the ferry over to Fuerteventura from the nearby harbour. Las Casitas and the surrounding area is suitable for families and couples alike of all ages.

Las Casitas is about 50 minutes/35Kms drive from the Airport, and situated adjacent to Las Brisas.
Directions from the airport
From the airport follow signs for Yaiza - LZ2. Continue along this road going through Macher and passing signs for Uga and Yaiza. After Uga, signs for Playa Blanca appear. Continue to follow these, still on LZ2 road. On approaching Playa Blanca, go straight over the mini-roundabout, go past the petrol station on the right and turn right at the next mini-roundabout. Take the second right. There is a sign “Zona Residencial Las Casitas”. The resort is on the left handside.
